BUTTER PECAN SQUASH

2 cups butternut squash cubed
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup small pecan pieces
a little salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 350-375. Arrange squash, buter and pecans in an oven proof casserole dish.
Bake uncovered at least one hour, stirring twice.
Bake until squash begins to brown and is tender.
