Least-sweet fruits Best for phase 1 elimination diet.

Sweet fruits Limit or avoid until phase 3 elimination diet.
apricots, bananas, cherries, coconut, dried fruits, grapes, mangoes, melons, nectarines, oranges, papaya, peaches, pineapple, pink grapefruit, plums, strawberries, watermelon.
PERMITTED SCD VEGETABLES RANKED BY CARBOHYDRATE CONTENT
asparagus, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, chard, cucumber, endive, greens (mustard and beet), lettuce, radish, spinach, tomato, watercress.
avocado, brussels sprouts, chives, collards, green beans, eggplant, kale, onion, parsley, peppers, summer squash, fresh herbs. Beets and pumpkin are considered medium carb., but do have a higher sugar content so may need to be limited.
