MonaVie

Kim B writes:

You might want to go to en.wikipedia.org and search for the article on the açai berry. There are several paragraphs discussing the false claims of certain companies, including MonaVie, that aren't backed up by evidence or clinical trials. Several sources state you can get just as much, if not more, antioxidant and mineral benefits from grape juice...

I would choose to use other juices that meet SCD standards, or make your own. I think there are too many uncertainties in how the MonaVie juices are made, and what might be added during the processing of the berries and the processing of the juice. Too much risk, in my opinion.

Monavie is a fruit juice blend. It is not legal because even if the mixture has no sugar or other illegals added by Monavie, you would have to have statements from every one of the 19 companies that make the other fruit juices that go into the mixture that THEY had added no illegals to their product before they sold it to Monavie.
