use the numpad keys to move around
here are the numpad keys:
press 4 to go left
press 6 to go right
press 8 to go up
press 2 to go down
press 9 to up one level
press 3 to down one level
to select colors use the d key and f key
you can also click on the colors in the color box
draw the glider as showed in this picture below
go down one level by pressing 3 on the numpad
draw that same glider again
make sure that both gliders on both levels are in the same place by pressing 3 and 9 on numpad
now switch to 3d mode by pressing the b key.
use the arrow keys to move around
the glider should look like this in 3d
press the x key to save the glider's position
watch the glider move by pressing the c key
press the z key to make the glider go back to it's original position
now switch to 2d mode by pressing the b key
how is how to select the glider
go to top-left corner of the glider and press space with the shift key down
press 3 or 9 to go the other level that has a glider
go to bottom-right corner of the glider and press space with the shift key down
now switch to 3d mode by pressing the b key.
the glider's cells should be highlight in red
use the numpad keys with the alt key down to move the selected glider around
press ctrl-C to copy it
press space bar many times to watch the glider move
press ctrl-V to paste it
now you have 2 3d gliders
you can move the selected glider around by pressing numpad keys with the alt key down
here is how to start with a cube of random cells
if you don't want to clear the 3d board then check the check box that saids "add cells"
click the apply button to add random cells
now you have a cube of random cells and you can press space bar to watch it change
