there a dad named John who was bothered by the radio someone named emily would often turn on the radio and it bother him he found this music annoying he tried to tell emily to stop playing the radio by yelling at her and by getting anger at her but it did not work because Emily was very stuborn and would not turn off the radio. he was frustrated and angry at Emily because he could not get emily to turn off that annoying radio. so he had to live with the annoying radio.

in the mean while. Frank who did not mind the radio. was running a Experiment. he tried a different action every day. and recorded data on how often and long Emily plays the radio that day. He was trying to find out which actions made her play the radio less.

one day Frank give dad a report that said "how to make emily want to stop playing radio".

this is what the report said
here is how to get emily to stop playing the radio and to start playing classic music instead

emily is stuborn and does not respond to anger or yelling. being angry and annoyed at emily makes her continue playing the radio yelling to her 'turn off that annoying radio' makes her continue playing the radio you can not get her to turn off the radio by yelling at her or being angry at her no matter how angry you get at emily, emily will continue playing the radio

play ball with her and said "I love you, emily", every time the radio plays, walk to the radio and turn it off yourself instead of telling her to turn it off the radio. turning off the radio works a lot better than telling her to turn it off the radio. when she asks you if you want to radio, said "no" in a soft nice tone be careful not to yell or use a harsh tone when you answer this question otherwise emily might turn on the radio it helps to be nice to her when she play radio. say "I love classic music" instead of saying "I dislike the radio, turn It off emily". saying "'I dislike the radio, turn It off emily' only encourages her to play radio more" saying "'I love classic music' encourages her to play classic music.

here are the DO's and DON'Ts
DO Say "I love classic music"
DO Say "I love you emily"
DO Play Ball With her
DO Use a soft nice tone when she asks you if you want the radio
DO Turn the radio off yourself
DO Be nice to emily when she plays the radio

DO NOT Tell emily "I dislike the radio, turn It off emily"
DO NOT Get angry at emily for playing the radio
DO NOT Tell her to turn it off by yelling
DO NOT Yell at her
DO NOT Use a loud or harsh tone when talking to her

so dad tried the advice in that report

He stop getting angry at emily, He stop yelling at emily. He began to turn off the radio himself instead of telling emily to turn off the radio.

John played ball with emily and said "I Love you, Emily" while the radio was playing John said to emily "I love classical music" every day. Emily ask dad if he want the Radio. Dad said "no" softly so Emily listen to him and did not turn on the radio. the advice in that report really worked Emily was playing the radio less and more softly Dad said to frank "Thank you for that report, the advice in that report really works"

One day emily played classical music Dad said to emily "I am happy that you are playing classic music instead of that annoying radio" Dad said to emily "classical music makes me happy" so dad was happy and enjoying the classical music.
